Note: Any natural person can purchase, starting from January 1, 2023, individually or jointly with another natural person/other natural persons, a single home whose value exceeds the sum of 600,000 lei, exclusive of the value added tax with the quota reduced by 5%. The displayed price, which includes the reduced rate of VAT of 5% for individuals, is applicable only to the extent that the existing fiscal provisions regarding the reduced rate of VAT will be maintained until the date of purchase/handover of the property, otherwise the buyer will fully bear any the VAT difference would be due additionally, depending on the legal and fiscal provisions applicable from the date of signing the promise or the contract of sale – purchase / delivery of the good.
